Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough

Cheese Spread

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion

Toppings

  • 2 cups finely chopped vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, black olives, tomatoes, and scallions)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Baking Surface: Adjust an oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place a piece of parchment paper or aluminum foil on a flat surface where you will work with the dough.
  2. Shape the Crust: Unroll the crescent roll triangles onto the parchment paper and arrange them into an 8-inch by 12-inch rectangle. Use a rolling pin to gently flatten and press the seams together to form one solid crust. Keep the dough on the parchment and transfer it to a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the Crust: Bake according to the package instructions, typically for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Rotate the baking sheet halfway through the baking time for even cooking. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the crust to cool completely, at least 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Cheese Spread: While the crust cools, in a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, dried parsley, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried minced onion until well combined. Chill this mixture in the refrigerator to let the flavors meld.
  5. Assemble the Pizza: Spread the chilled cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Distribute the finely chopped vegetables evenly on top, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Cut and Chill: Cut the assembled veggie pizza into 24 small squares. For best taste and ease of storage, chill the squares in the refrigerator until serving. Use parchment paper between layers if stacking slices to prevent sticking.

Notes

  • Use a variety of colorful vegetables for a visually appealing and tasty pizza.
  • Make sure the crescent roll crust is completely cooled before spreading the cheese mixture to prevent it from melting and becoming runny.
  • Storing the slices with parchment paper between layers helps maintain their shape and prevents them from sticking together.
  • This pizza can be made a few hours ahead of time, making it convenient for parties or meal prep.
  • If preferred, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter spread alternative.
