A delicious Starbucks copycat recipe for Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew featuring smooth cold brew coffee topped with a rich, creamy salted caramel foam that is both sweet and a little salty, perfect for a refreshing and indulgent coffee treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale

Cold Brew Coffee

  • 8 oz cold brew coffee
  • 12 tbsp vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice, as needed

Salted Caramel Cream Foam

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp 2% milk
  • 1 tbsp caramel syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cold Brew: Pour 8 ounces of cold brew coffee into a large cup filled with ice. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup depending on your preferred sweetness and stir well to combine all the flavors.
  2. Make the Salted Caramel Foam: In a separate cup, combine 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons 2% milk, 1 tablespoon caramel syrup, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Use a hand frother to whip the mixture vigorously until it becomes thick and creamy, forming a rich foam.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Gently pour the salted caramel cold foam over the cold brew coffee. The foam will float on top creating a beautiful layered effect. Serve immediately and enjoy the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and creamy flavors.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of vanilla syrup based on how sweet you like your coffee.
  • If you don’t have a hand frother, a small whisk or electric mixer can be used to froth the caramel cream mixture.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream and milk with coconut cream or oat milk and use a vegan caramel syrup.
  • Make sure the cold brew and glass are well chilled for the best iced coffee experience.
  • Adding extra ice can dilute the drink; adjust ice quantity according to preference.
