Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp (16g) Olive Oil, divided
  • 12 oz Broccoli Florets, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken (97/3)

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 C (60g) Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp (42g) Honey
  • 23 Tbsp (30-45g) Sriracha, to spice preference
  • 2 Tbsp (30g) Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp (16g) Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger

Garnish

  • Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Broccoli: Heat 1/2 Tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and leave them untouched for 1-2 minutes to allow browning on one side. Stir and continue cooking until broccoli turns a vibrant dark green, about 3-4 minutes longer. Remove from skillet and place on a plate, set aside.
  2. Cook the Ground Chicken: Add the remaining olive oil to the same skillet. Add the ground chicken and cook until both sides are browned. Break apart the chicken by mincing it in the pan and continue to cook thoroughly until no longer pink.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: While the chicken is cooking, combine sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, garlic powder, and ground ginger in a bowl. Pour this sauce over the cooked chicken and stir often as you cook until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken well. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  4. Combine and Garnish: Return the cooked broccoli to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Stir everything together to combine flavors evenly. Remove from heat and garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
