4.8 from 76 reviews

This Chilled Peach Moscato Sangria is a refreshing and fruity beverage perfect for warm weather gatherings. Combining fresh strawberries, juicy peaches, raspberries, and a sweet Moscato wine with peach juice and a splash of triple sec, it’s an effervescent cocktail that’s vibrant in flavor and color. Easily assembled and chilled ahead of time, this sangria offers a delightful balance of sweet and tangy notes, topped off with ginger ale or soda water for a bubbly finish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sangria:

  • 16 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup triple sec (or Chambord for a darker hue)
  • 1/2 cup peach juice (preferably R.W. Knudsen Organic Peach Nectar)
  • 2 ripe peaches or nectarines, sliced
  • 1 chilled 750 ml bottle Moscato wine
  • 6 oz fresh raspberries

For Serving:

  • Ginger ale (or soda water for a less sweet option)

Instructions

  1. Assemble the Ingredients in the Pitcher: Begin by placing the sliced fresh strawberries, peaches, and raspberries into the bottom of a large pitcher. Pour in the chilled Moscato wine, triple sec (or Chambord), and peach juice directly over the fruit. Gently stir the mixture to combine all the flavors thoroughly.
  2. Chill the Sangria: Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the sangria to chill for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld. For a more intense flavor, you can leave it overnight, but ensure it does not sit longer than 24 hours to maintain the fruit’s freshness.
  3. Serve the Sangria: When ready to serve, pour the sangria into wine glasses, making sure to scoop in some of the soaked fruit. Fill the glasses about three-quarters full.
  4. Top with Bubbly: Add a splash of ginger ale or club soda to each glass to introduce a refreshing fizz and lighten the sweetness.
  5. Garnish and Enjoy: For an attractive presentation, add extra slices of peach or other fresh fruit atop each glass as garnish. Serve immediately while the sangria is perfectly chilled and fizzy.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor and sweet aroma.
  • Substitute triple sec with Chambord for a richer color and raspberry flavor.
  • Ginger ale adds sweetness, while soda water reduces sugar and keeps it light.
  • Do not let the sangria sit for more than 24 hours to avoid soggy fruit and loss of freshness.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Moscato and triple sec with peach-flavored sparkling water.
